Since childhood, my life has been shaped by a balance between sport and culture. I grew up competitive skiing and playing the clarinet, and to this day, the mountains and nature remain the place where I go to clear my mind. Because the outdoors gives me so much peace, I want the spaces I design to feel just as open and connected to the outside.
I travel a lot, usually just with a backpack, sleeping outdoors. Getting to know different cultures and people gives me new perspectives, and it's honestly how I learn and grow the most. It's the same reason I step out of my comfort zone through cold-water swimming.
I have always been fascinated by life behind windows. Not out of nosiness, but out of wonder at how our environment shapes who we are. And that is my goal, to create spaces that evoke feelings and serve as a refuge. I love working with what is already there — respecting the past, listening to the story of a place, and giving it a new purpose for the people who will use that space.
